Day 1 – Welcome to Africacheetah
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, guests will be met by a representative of Opentour Africa who will hand over the travel documents and assist them checking in for their flight to Pietermaritzburg in the province of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Upon arrival in Pietermaritzburg guests will be collected by a representative from Karkloof Safari Spa and transferred to the lodge

Day 2 – Time to tee off
After a leisurely breakfast, guests will be collected and transferred to the Victoria Country Club for a round of golf. On return to Karkloof Safari Spa lunch will be waiting and then guests have the afternoon at leisure
The Victoria Country Club is superbly located in the scenic parklands adjoining the Queen Elizabeth Nature Reserve, and above all, boasts one of South Africa’s most picturesque golfing venues.
The course meanders attractively through rolling terrain combining parkland and grassland habitats saturated with scenic beauty. Spectacular views of the surrounding escarpments and verdant valleys provide for an uplifting and rewarding golfing experience.
Karkloof Safari Spa is the ultimate destination to unwind: it offers not only superb health and wellness treatments with world class therapists, but also provides the opportunity to experience the African bush and its teeming wildlife at first hand. Treatments and therapies are Thai-inspired, and use only the finest natural ingredients, from avocado oil and lemon grass, to green tea, honey, melon and grapefruit, all blended freshly for personal therapy.

Days 3 – Relax and enjoy
Day at leisure to take part in a myriad of activities on offer
Wooden walkways, paths and trails weave through thorn thickets over dolerite rocks, into the mist-belt forest or across the savannah, allowing guests to wander. Mountain bikes are available for guests to explore the cinematic splendour of the Karkloof Valley. Alternatively, guests can make use the heated swimming pool, the library, the lounges or the private bar areas to relax and read. The Green’ & Tea’s Café at the Spa is a calming reflection space for deeper meditation or prayer.

Day 4 – Golfers paradise
After a leisurely breakfast, guests have the morning to relax at the lodge..
Game viewing at the Karkloof Reserve is an exciting adventure and includes species of black and white Rhino, Giraffe, Buffalo, Zebra, Wildebeest and a multitude of Antelope, warthog and monkeys including the Samango monkey, unique to the area, as well as over 300 species of birds. The 105m high waterfall overwhelms guests, colourful butterflies are in abundance including the special Karkloof Blue Butterfly.
Golf 2After an early lunch, will be collected and transferred to the Victoria Country Club for another chance to circumnavigate 18 holes. On return to Karkloof Safari Spa guests have the opportunity to refresh and relax before enjoying another gourmet meal

Day 5 – Time for Safari!zebra running
After breakfast, guests will be collected and transferred to Durban International airport for the domestic flight to Kruger International airport in Nelspruit. Upon arrival guests will be met by our transfer agent who will road transfer them to Chitwa Chitwa Private Game Lodge, in the world famous Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve.Upon arrival guests will check in before going on the afternoon safari.
The Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve is the birthplace of sustainable wildlife tourism in Southern Africa, and is the oldest of all the private reserves in South Africa. It has only ever been a wilderness area and is home to a vast wildlife population, including The Big Five, and a flock of elephantnumber of endangered species too. Flanking the Kruger National Park, animals pass unhindered between the reserves
Once a private retreat, Chitwa Chitwa is named after an old giraffe bull who shared the lakeside home with the Brink family. Today Chitwa Chitwa is a magnificent private game lodge and like the graceful old giraffe, it blends humbly into the surrounding beauty of the unspoiled bush of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve.

Days are spent on exhilarating safaris in the one of the most sought after safari destinations.

After breakfast, guests will be transferred by our transfer agent in a private vehicle to Eastgate airport, Hoedspruit and depart for Johannesburg International airport
