Day 1 – Welcome to Africa
pon arrival in Cape Town, guests will be met by a representative of Opentour Africa who will hand over the travel documents and assist them in collecting their rental car. Guests may then drive themselves to the De Waterkant district, the location of their luxury apartment (approximately 5minutes drive from the waterfront)
Cape Town, known as the Mother City, is situated on the South Western tip of the African Continent, in one of the most beautiful, natural locations in the world. As beautiful as the 3surrounding beaches and vineyards may be, it’s the rugged wilderness of Table Mountain, coated in a unique flora that grabs everyone’s attention.
Colourful De Waterkant Village is a unique European influenced village of semi-detached quaint cottages and cobbled streets preserved from the 1760’s. Cradled between the city and the V&A Waterfront, De Waterkant Village is avant-garde, a cultural urban refuge highlighted by the abundance of restaurants, art galleries, gay clubs, salsa clubs, tapas bars and Parisian inspired café’s.

Day 4 – Time for Safari!
After breakfast, guests will drive themselves to Cape Town International airport for the domestic flight to Kruger International airport in Nelspruit. Upon arrival guests will be met by our transfer agent who will road transfer them to Chitwa Chitwa Private Game Lodge, in the world famous Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. Upon arrival guests will check in before going on the afternoon safari
The Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve is the birthplace of sustainable wildlife tourism in Southern Africa, and is the oldest of all the private reserves in South Africa. It has only ever been a wilderness area and is home to a vast wildlife population, including The Big Five, and a number of endangered species too. Flanking the Kruger National Park, animals pass unhindered between the reserves11
Once a private retreat, Chitwa Chitwa is named after an old giraffe bull who shared the lakeside home with the Brink family. Today Chitwa Chitwa is a magnificent private game lodge and like the graceful old giraffe, it blends humbly into the surrounding beauty of the unspoiled bush of the Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve.
